Honey Bunny - MGMT
I found this song, it was made by MGMT back when they were still called The Management!
I kinda like it, and the lyrics are awesome. haha.
Here's a link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiHiMe4rkN0
Basically, I love MGMT with a burning passion. Their music is unique and you won't find anything like it anywhere else. (if you can, message me. haha)
However, I can be super annoying when it comes to music, I complain a lot about what's popular and I will judge you based on the music you like. I argue with people about what music is good and what isn't, and I typically lose.
Still, I highly advise everyone to search for the music that they really love, and not to always just stick with what's popular. You might find something awesome :)

I got my ears pierced!
I got a double on my left ear, and a triple on my right.
I was going to get my doubles done with Alex at the beginning of the summer, but we never got a chance to. Plus, it costs $35 NOT INCLUDING earrings. However, it only cost $18 at Pacific Mall, and that's including the earrings. I love them!

Katie's house
last night i went to Katie's house for a sleepover.
we stayed up late, and i was tired in the morning.
we took lots of pictures at the beach.
in the morning, nearly all my friends came to Katie's house. it was fun times.
then, Katie decided that we would go to lick's.
lick's is far from Katie's house, and it was raining out, but we went anyways.
after i finished the best burger in the world, we started to walk back. then Edward came and informed me that Marissa was still in the washroom, so we waited for her.
Michael gave me his sweater. what a nice person.
on the way back to Katie's, a bunch of us took a detour in the park, where i took this:
so that was fun.
we then continued to the beach, where we put all our stuff in the lifeguard's shed and ran around in the rain :D
Hailey and i ran into the lake but stopped when the water went to our thighs. it was too cold.
the lifeguards told us that there was lightning so we had to leave.
Emily and i had cameras under our sweaters. We were worried about them so we dropped them off at Katie's and then George, Anna, Sabrina and i left to find Yael and Hailey.
Hailey and i didn't get a chance to jump in the lake due to lack of rain, so we made a pact to swim during a thunderstorm sometime in the future.
then we camho'd.

Metamorphosis
written entirely in ELIZABETHAN - OMG.
Marissa and I were supposed to be working on geography, but instead, we performed.
it's the best play since Twelfth Night.
we hope you like it.
WRITER - Christina (with special thanks to marissa)
PERFORMERS - Christina and Marissa
CHARACTERS:
Thyme (caterpillar)
Fallacy (caterpillar)
ACT 1, SCENE 1
(music starts, music stops)
M: (sitting on chair B, looking in distance) O Fallacy, our dainters art thou attending.
C: (offstage) For the light of day is infinite, Thyme, play the waiters.
M: My hand is weary of petting, arrive in time! (frustrated)
C: In time, O Thyme.
Exeunt Thyme
ACT 1, SCENE 2
M: (arriving at the podium) Good light, oh clients. As we are the largest caterpillars at the jardin, we address thee with satisfaction.
C: (following after Thyme) There are no requirements for anxiety, we shall not be largest much longer. Others will soon feel the joys of the gigantic.
M: Eat all in sight, grow large as we!
Exeunt Thyme and Fallacy
ACT 1, SCENE 3
C: (in chair A) How fantabulous 'tis that we're the fairest!
M: (in chair B) If only we could remain this state for time longer, O Fallacy!
C: If only, if only. i've heard rumours, won't you repeat?
M: Our parts become rigid, no room to move.
C: And after, O Thyme?
M: You escape, eventually?
C: Become a flying being? perhaps.
M: O, fortasse, Fallacy.
C: But how long until? 'twas two years, non?
M: O fortasse, 'twas been two years passed! No requirements for anxiety, if children, if we.
C: If we fall, we fall together, non?
M: O, perhaps. O Fallacy!
Exeunt Thyme and Fallacy
ACT 2, SCENE 1
M: I woke up in unfamiliar skin, O Fallacy.
C: likewise, O Thyme.
M: Weary.
C: Almost eccentric.
M: How's life?
C: Not pleasant, not grand, as all time.
M: What will become?
C: Mystery, O Thyme.
M: Misery!
C: Let's be hopeful.
Exeunt Thyme and Fallacy
ACT 2, SCENE 2
M: OH! THE AGONY!
C: 'TWAS WORSE THAN WE PREDICTED!
M: O FALLACY!
C: O THYME!
Slowly exeunt Thyme and Fallacy
ACT 2, SCENE 3
C: How now, Thyme? is living as free familiar to thee?
M: Not as much!
(both start flying around, music starts!)
C: Our suffering, O Thyme, paid us well.
M: we can fly to thy world's ends, to thy heart's content!
C: Misery, not as much! how living as fat is not great as with wings.
M: wings are not to be living without,
C: free to explore life, in general!
M: O Fallacy! How fantabulous is color! like rebirth.
C: Metamorphosis, O Thyme.
M: To familiarize such beauty, not easy, how lovely art thou, O Earth!
C: O thyme!
M: O Fallacy!
(music starts, music stops)
Exeunt Fallacy and Thyme

Photography
photography is one of my passions. I have always been interested in art, but I only became interested in photography about two years ago.
it's great because you can create a piece of art in the click of a button.
in all honesty, i am still learning about photography and cameras etc., and so for now i'm just experimenting.
I have 4 cameras:
Stylus Tough Olympus
Sony SLR a300
Diana Mini
Sony HD Video Camera
my diana mini is perfect because it's film, and using a film camera apparently improves your photography skills. i love it because right now i'm going through an "abstract lomo" phase, and i can't stop taking pictures!
film is also awesome for effects like vignette and oversaturation. the real thing happens to be very different from picnik.
i am also starting to become interested in portrait photography, and i like to have photoshoots with friends. i especially like dressing people up and taking pictures of them to supposedly portray a "message". it sounds lame, but it can get pretty awesome.
i have tons of fun with my olympus, i can take it anywhere because it's waterproof, pressureproof, freezeproof, crashproof, heatproof etc.
the sony is not technically mine, but my mom lets me use it. I love the resolution and the white balance. I LOVE SLRs!
infact, i'm thinking of buying a Canon Rebel, but i don't have enough money at the moment. I'll look at cameras and pick the right one. I'm as careful with buying cameras as my parents are with buying cars. no joke.
i also love taking super macro shots.
one of my goals is to travel the world and take pictures for the national geographic. I love planet earth.
you can look at my photostream on the left. get me some VIEWS.

Allow the patrons to exit first
I hate the subway, and i have to take it twice every day.
I hate how dirty it is, and i hate how terrifying it is to stand on the edge of the platform.
"Hey guys, do you ever get the feeling when a person stands on the edge of the platform, you just want to push them?"
-Katie
It's people like her that make me scared of my daily commute.
Today there was a man on the bus who seemed normal at first. He started talking to the woman next to me about his journeys in alaska and his dogs. He was really interesting, and gave me a few words of wisdom as well:
"You are a fellopian. Never forget it. You, in fact, are fluent in fellopian, and i'm amazed that you can understand me right now. I wonder how the first fellopian knew he was a fellopian? I wonder what his name was?"
and i realized that strange people on the subway are usually the most entertaining.
We like to yell "I LOVE THE SUBWAY" really loud, especially in crowded places. In this case, we ARE the weird people.
There was another man on the subway last year who talked to us about his immigration to canada and how his sister had to stay in iran; he was also quite interesting.
However, most people on the subway are not strange, and plenty are annoying as shit.
They sit far away from you, they push and shove you, they don't allow the patrons to exit first. They get mad when you leave your metro newspaper on the seat.
They might even yell at you for getting too close to them. What do they expect from the subway?
Either they don't care enough about you or they care a little too much.
Once i dragged my finger along the side of the escalator and by the time i got to the top my finger was black. Ew.
So, the TTC increased its prices. No longer can i hand the operator a five dollar bill to pay for my weekly tickets, but now i have to give them two extra quarters. They also decided to close off the stairway to people who want to transfer to the green line. UGH.
i HATE the subway.
However, i've learned to love the metro newspaper with its lame comics and scarily accurate horoscopes, and i always look forward to smelling the cinnabon in eglinton station.
The subway is actually a very convenient way to travel, and like my grandparents say i am very lucky that i don't have to walk to school. lol.
Next time you're on the subway, do something weird and watch people's reactions. Pretend to take a call in the middle of a tunnel. Take pictures of the floor and watch everyone's head whip around when they think maybe you've taken a picture of them. And remember, always offer your seat to an old person!
